The primary duties of the Staff Assistant/Team Lead are:
- Consistently up-sell/cross-sell AAA products including new memberships, credit cards, and insurance referrals
- Plan domestic travel vacations (car rentals, hotels, vacation packages, maps, tour books and, triptiks)
- Answer incoming overflow calls for Roadside Assistance during high call volumes
- Support the Retail Manager to help enhance the customer experience by leading associates to success and promoting our Shared Values.
- Lead, guide, and direct the daily operations of the Retail Store, including administrative and associate-related issues in the absence of the Retail Manager
- Serve as backup to the cashiers
Minimum Qualifications:
- Have a high school diploma/GED
- Minimum of six (6) months of sales/customer service experience
- Have effective communication skills both written and oral
- Proficient computer skills including the ability to multitask on several websites and programs
- Ability to read maps and geography knowledge a plus
