STAFF ANALYST II
SCOPE OF WORK
1. Project Description: Administration of various maintenance and repair contracts supporting the Department of Subways as well as the preparation of new contracts, field support, project management and special projects.
Review and coordination of design and drawing documents and Participation in Design Kickoff meetings. Coordination of contracts close-out and inspection.

4. Normal Work Week: Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 4 PM, RDO Saturday & Sunday5. No. of Hours Per Week: 35

9. Reports To: Director, System Support Contracts / Joseph Barthelemy, Manager, Capital Contracts Design Review
10. Qualifications Requirements: Possessing a BS or BE in Engineering or in a related area.
11. Experience Requirements: A combination of 1-5 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: contract/facilities management, environmental compliance; fire safety techniques; mechanical/electrical equipment for building; facility construction techniques. Familiarity with NYC Transit operations, procurement practices/procedures, purchasing options and knowledge of budget processes. Familiarity with construction techniques and methodologies; inspection of facilities critical equipment and the preparation and revision of technical specifications.

13. Special Skills/Training Requirements: Strong PC skills, including working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and other related programs. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
14. Description of Work: This employee is responsible for Administration of various maintenance and repair contracts supporting the Department of Subways as well as the preparation of new contracts, field support, project management and special projects.They also may perform onsite inspections of facilities to ensure contractor compliance with contract specifications/procedures, performs dur diligence, monitors quality, addresses concerns and maintains consistent follow-up on all outstanding issues.
The employee prepares necessary vendor evaluations and coordinates proposal preparation, develops scopes of work, cost estimates, project schedule and cost tracking f all projects.
Employee may also be involved in writing project profiles and coordinating the review of Master Plans and design documents. He/she may participate in design kickoff meetings.
Employee will review, coordinate, and process AWO's, RFI's, as-built drawings, shop drawings, O&M manuals.
The employee will process Beneficial Use and Final Acceptance certificates.
Salary will be commensurate with scope of work job experience.
