Staff Accountant

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team. As a Staff Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Responsibilities:

- Perform various accounting tasks, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes

- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports

- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement

- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions

- Support the annual financial audit process

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the accounting system

- Assist with ad-hoc projects as assigned

Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

- 2+ years of experience in public accounting or related field

- Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices

- Experience with accrual accounting and preparing journal entries

- Proficiency in financial analysis and cash flow analysis

- Familiarity with accounting software is preferred

- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
