SalaryOHI Inc. is actively seeking a Staff Accountant. While initially temporary, there is potential for this role to transition into a full-time position.
The Staff Accountant will assist in the planning, controlling, measuring and reporting of financial information.
The Staff Accountant is responsible for all areas relating to the day-to-day accounting and to ensure accurate and timely financial statements. This position addresses tight deadlines and many accounting activities including general ledger preparation, year-end audit preparation and support of budget and forecast activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related required.
- Professional designation preferred.
- Minimum 2-3 years working experience in accounting required.
- Knowledge of accepted accounting rules, practices, tax laws, and GAAP.
- Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Computer literate, including effective working skills of Microsoft Office and Great Plains.
- Ability to adapt to and learn new software.
- Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently.
- High level of critical and logical thinking, analysis, and/or reasoning to identify underlying principles, reasons, or facts Able to work well under pressure and meet set deadlines.
- Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills.
- Ability to interpret and implement company policies and procedures.
- Attention to detail in all areas of work.
Working Conditions:
- Ability to attend meetings with video and conduct presentations as needed.
- Stable working internet.
