SalaryPosition Description:
The Staff Accountant is responsible for the day to day accounting functions of the organization including Accounts Payables and Accounts Receivable processes, daily banking activity, and month end close entries in conformity with GAAP.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from an accredited university is required.
One year experience in GL accounting preferred.
Masters Degree in Accounting is preferred.
Great Plains experience preferred.
Oncology experience preferred.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Respond to AP inquiries and ensure all AP invoices are processed timely.
Update banking information daily.
Create accounts receivable invoices in Great Plains from revenue files.
Post AR payments to sales invoices.
Prepare month end journal entries for prepaids, AMEX allocation, and deferred rent.
Responsible for monthly revenue journal entries including completion of the revenue calculation.
Supervision:
The Staff Accountant reports to the Chief Financial Officer.
