As a Staff Accountant with Savills, you will work cross-functionally with other members of the finance department assisting with various reporting requirements and projects. This position reports to the Assistant Controller.

As a Staff Accountant with Savills, you will work cross-functionally with other members of the finance department assisting with various reporting requirements and projects. This position reports to the Assistant Controller.
Main Responsibilities:
- Prepare the Company’s monthly consolidated financial statements by:
- Calculating and posting various types of journal entries
- Completing bank and other general ledger reconciliations
- Analyze a significant volume of transaction documents for proper revenue recognition and timely processing in our systems
- Review operations reports and obtain feedback from field offices for use in analytics
- Create new vendor profiles within Accounts Payable module including verification of W-9 information in accordance with Company policy
- Interact with other Finance teams including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Tax and Treasury and management at our field offices
- Assist with projects assigned to the reporting group from our parent company
- Assist with year-end financial audit and internal audits
- Assist with the implementation of new ERP technologies
- Other ad hoc projects as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 1-2 years of experience
- Must have knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- Intermediate to Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel
- Ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines
- Solid verbal and written skills
- Be deadline oriented with an attention to detail
