Staff Accountant - Partially Remote, May Require Occasional Onsite Work.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Staff Accountant supports the Finance department in a wide range of accounting and reporting functions, including daily sales and other reporting to senior management, monthly close process, journal entries, account reconciliations, cash reporting, reporting to manufacturers, invoicing manufacturers for monthly and quarterly service fees, and associated journal entries. This position will be mainly remote, may require to work onsite occasionally as needed. 

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & TRAINING
  

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• Minimum 1-3 years of accounting experience
• Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, VLOOKUPs, and pivot tables
• Highly responsible, organized, and reliable; strong attention to detail
• Willingness and ability to learn, prioritize, and adapt to a dynamic environment in a growing company
• Positive attitude and willingness to be a team player in a small, well-established department

ESSESTIAL JOB DUTIES  

• Participate in monthly close process, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, light billing, and financial reporting.
• Preparation of daily sales report for distribution to senior management.
• Invoice manufacturers for monthly and quarterly service fees.
• Daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and dispense reporting to manufacturers.
• Prepare reporting and submit weekly payments to vendors.
• Download daily cash transactions from bank, complete journal entries, distribute report.
• Other duties or projects as required.
