This position would be responsible for:
- Journal Entries and General Ledger Maintenance - Record financial transactions by entering journal entries into the general ledger system. Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable - Process accounts payable invoices, ensure timely payments to vendors, and reconcile accounts payable transactions. Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing customers, posting payments, and following up on outstanding balances.
- Bank Reconciliation - Reconcile bank statements with general ledger balances to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Monitor variances between actual and budgeted expenses and revenues.
- Financial Analysis - Conduct financial analysis, such as variance analysis, trend analysis, and ratio analysis, to support management decision-making and improve financial performance.
- Ad Hoc Reporting and Projects - Assist in special projects and ad hoc financial analysis as required by management. Provide financial data and analysis to support strategic initiatives.
- Work closely with other departments to provide financial information and support cross-functional initiatives.
- Stay updated on accounting principles, regulations, and industry trends through professional development activities, such as seminars, workshops, and certifications.
- Other duties as assigned.
