Summary:
We are seeking an experienced, motivated, Staff Accountant who enjoys a fast-paced tech environment. The ideal candidate is a fast learner, team player and willing to leverage technology to improve efficiency in the accounting department.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting tasks including accounts payable/receivable, journal entries, analyses, balance sheet account reconciliations and month-end close.
- Manage collections of Accounts Receivable and answer customer inquiries.
- File quarterly sales and use taxes in California.
- Contribute to process improvements and maintain documentation for accounts receivable.
- Meet processing and reporting deadlines.
- Assist the Controller and CFO as needed with other departmental tasks such as the annual audit, tax compliance, etc
- Provide general HR support as requested
Requirements:
- 1-4 years of relevant experience
- BS/BA in accounting, finance, economics or relevant field is preferred
- Knowledge of US GAAP and accounting principles
- Experience with NetSuite is ideal. Willingness to gain in-depth knowledge of accounting software.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- US person as defined by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations

Compensation:
$65,000 - $85,000
