How You Contribute to Pinnacle Transplant’s Success
The Staff Accountant is responsible for providing management with financial information by reviewing, posting, researching and analyzing accounts and preparing financial statements. He/she is responsible for maintaining financial reports, records, and general ledgers; and may prepare and analyze budgets, applying the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) that includes analytical work and thorough review of financial records.
The Staff Accountant is a full-time, onsite position.
Pay range dependent upon experience: $61,000 - $75,000
What You Will Do
- Comply with FDA, AATB, OSHA, cGTP, and state rules and regulations and PTT SOPs at all times.
- Review and post daily sales journals, Cash Receipts, Inventory Adjustments and AP voucher entry.
- Monthly reconciliation of all bank account statements.
- Assist Controller in reviewing, approving, and posting journal entries to the general ledger.
- Serves as a backup to accounts receivable functions including billing, cash receipts and collections
- Reconcile and maintain Balance Sheet Reconciliations, including prepaids, fixed assets, and accruals
- Assist with check runs and wire/ACH transactions to ensure timely payment of vendor invoices.
- Ensure accurate coding and timely processing of invoices and vendor statement reconciliations.
- Identify, manage and implement process improvement projects as assigned by CFO and Controller.
- Determine and enter monthly journal entries, assign entries to proper accounts, and assist with account schedule reconciliations upon review by Controller.
- Inventory real property and equipment (fixed assets), recording information such as the description, value, and location of property.
- Perform routine administrative tasks such as maintaining information files, preparing reports, and responding to requests for information about specific accounts.
- Maintain current knowledge of software features and proficiency in using PTT’s accounting system as well as intermediate excel skills.
- Complete required monthly and annual training and re-training in work and safety procedures.
- Review Organ Procurement Organizations (OPO) invoicing and approval for payments and monthly accrual
- Other duties as assigned by Controller or PTT Leadership.
What Qualifications You Will Bring
- Define desired education and work experience Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, business administration or related field is preferred, an equivalent of education and experience will be considered.
- 3-5 years of experience in accounting and finance in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

- Daily communication with Controller to ensure financial goals and objectives are achieved.
- Regular communication and follow-up with cross-functional team members to ensure Finance/accounting/payroll procedures are adhered to on a department level.
Where You Will Work
- Full Time position (40 hours or more) based in Arizona. Hours may include evenings and weekends to perform tasks outlined in the job description.
