Our client is looking for an experienced Staff acoountant to join their company. As a Staff Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of their organization and ensuring that their clients and candidates receive top-notch service. Your responsibilities will include:

- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, providing insights and recommendations.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and client invoicing.
- Researching, tracking, and resolving accounting and/or documentation discrepancies.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Monitor and manage company expenses, ensuring adherence to budgetary guidelines.
- Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making, budgeting, and forecasting
- Prepare for and assist with internal and external audits.
- Provide financial guidance to clients and candidates, addressing inquiries and concerns.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in accounting procedures.
- Utilize accounting software and tools to streamline financial processes and reporting.
Requirements:
- Excellent computer skills; Experience in Microsoft Office Suite, and Quickbooks or Paycom.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to develop and implement improvements or recommendations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and experience in developing a competent team.
- Interpersonal skills to communicate with external entities and company personnel.
- Able to work under pressure and prioritize.
- 2+ years of experience in Accounting & Finance/working in a similar role.
