Onsite Placement Locations: Springfield, Missouri or Glenmont, New York
How you will make an impact:
- Perform monthly close activities including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management and Board of Directors
- Assist in preparing various reports and footnotes under basic accounting standards and Statutory Accounting
- Safeguard accounting internal controls compliance
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or Finance and/or equivalent industry work experience with two-year degree considered
- Basic understanding of GAAP accounting
- Ability to work hours outside of normal business operations during peak periods
Not required but beneficial:
Three years' + work experience in accounting
Experience in Workiva, Wings, and SAP. platforms
Applicable industry designations/certifications/training
Familiarity with statutory accounting
Salary for this position can range from $57,000 for candidates who are minimally qualified through $65,000 for more highly qualified candidates. Candidates outside of the range are encouraged to apply, and will be evaluated accordingly based upon qualifications.
