Extremely (emphasis added) fast paced/high profile Plaintiff Firm looking for Accounting Assistant/Bookkeeper with room to grow:
Requirements: Minimum of 3 yrs. law office experience, computer literate (proficient in Word and Excel spreadsheets required), must be proficient/skilled in QuickBooks.

Job duties to include but is not limited to; Maintains Firm’s Prescription List, opening and closing of files, some case management and assistance of all active files in the firm, filing, opening and sorting mail, ordering and maintaining inventory within the firm’s supplies, must be able to draft correspondences, must possess good communication skills with fellow staff, attorneys, vendors, courts, etc..
Would assist in the operation of the firm’s accounting department, which includes but is not limited to the preparation of all Client Cost Summaries, Settlement Statements, accounts payable and receivables, end of quarter reports, daily entries of (electronic and/or manual) bank deposits and checks, data entry/coding into various QuickBooks accounts, preparation and completion of numerous monthly bank reconciliations, may be asked to compile various financial statements/schedules, bank runs, misc. office errands. Must have transportation.
