The role of an entry level Staff Accountant is pivotal in maintaining the financial integrity of the HAZA Group. As a vital member of the finance team, this position requires a keen attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a thorough understanding of accounting principles. Staff Accountants collaborate closely with internal departments and external vendors to address inquiries, reconcile discrepancies, and contribute to the overall financial stability of the company.

Job Summary:
The Staff Accountant will be responsible for daily sales and cash reconciliations, as well as reconciliations for food delivery sales, including fees and commissions. The role involves communicating with store field staff to ensure accurate reporting and adherence to company policies. The Staff Accountant will also work to meet deadlines and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily reconciliations of sales and cash transactions
• Reconcile food delivery sales, including fees and commissions
• Communicate with store field staff to ensure accurate reporting and resolve discrepancies
• Investigate and resolve cash over/short discrepancies
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all transactions
• Prepare and analyze financial reports as needed
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
• Collaborate with other departments to improve processes and efficiency
• Adhere to company policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in accounting or related field
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented and able to multitask
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Experience with ERP systems is a plus
