Role:
To support the financial management and operations of the company through maintenance of accounting records and reports. Performs a wide variety of accounting work under moderate supervision and required internal controls.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Performs duties related to the accounting functions/operations to ensure the company is compliant with GAAP.
- Prepares reports on moderately complex budget or income and expenditures records; prepares special reports exercising initiative in arranging details to obtain end objectives.
- Compiles all information and completes the monthly financial statements for review and acceptance by the CEO.
- Performs all invoicing, bank deposits, accounts payable and review of accounts receivables posting functions; processes all expenses and expense reports, getting approvals as required; reviews lower level accounting work assignments for accuracy and completeness.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Performance Measurements:
1. To prepare all reports within the prescribed time frame and with zero errors.
2. To keep all assigned general ledger accounts current and in balance daily.
3. To provide assistance to management with accounting related activities and budget preparation.
4. To maintain a professional work environment and businesslike appearance.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Experience: Three years to five years of similar or related experience.
Education: A two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study in Accounting and/or Finance. Bachelor's degree preferred.
Interpersonal Skills: Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for purposes of giving or obtaining information, building relationships, or soliciting cooperation.
Other Skills: Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite of products and an intermediate level proficiency in QuickBooks. Knowledge of spreadsheet software and accounting terms/processes.

Pay: Up to $90,000.00 per year
