Staff Accountant

Marissa Collections is looking to add a Staff Accountant to the accounting department. This role will be instrumental in verifying specific accounting responsibilities are maintained in our busy, retail establishment.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Process AP/AR, payroll
• Journal entries, bank reconciliations
• Assist with month, quarterly, year-end close
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Detailed analysis of transactions, journal logs, etc.
• Track expenses, reimbursements, taxes, etc.
• Other Ad hoc projects as requested

Requirements:

• Bachelors in accounting, Finance or related field
• 2 plus years of general ledger accounting/bookkeeping experience
• Strong Microsoft skills
• Ability to work on multiple projects
• Excellent communication
• Ability to work across multiple departments and maintain relationships
