Job Title: Staff Accountant
Reports to: Controller
Primary Focus: Responsible for broad range of data entry, administrative and general accounting duties and tasks necessary to support the timely, accurate and efficient recording of accounting transactions Key Responsibilities:- Develop knowledge and skills necessary to accurately and efficiently complete assigned daily transactional workflows associated with the CRS billing, cash receipts, accounts payable, disbursement, and payroll systems while adhering to all established accounting policies and practices
- Completion of monthly bank reconciliations
- Assist in the accurate data gathering, completion and timely filing of sales tax returns
- Review and record all purchase and credit card transactions
- Assist in the review and processing of benefit and welfare plan invoices
- Completion of assigned analysis and research as needed
- Recognize, uphold and maintain established standards of confidentiality related to payroll, personnel/employee and company performance data and information
- Exhibit the highest level of personal commitment to service and satisfaction of all internal and external customers
- Other assigned duties and tasks as directed or requested
- A one or two-year associate degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
- Prior experience as a member of an accounting team helpful, but not required
- Unwavering commitment to accuracy and timeliness in the completion of assigned duties and tasks
- Sensitivity and commitment to achieve extraordinary customer and stakeholder satisfaction
- Basic to Intermediate level skills with business and productivity software (enterprise financial systems, email, word processing, spread sheets, etc.)

Travel Needs
Overnight and/or weekend travel would be infrequent if necessary. It is assumed this requirement would be limited to 0-5 days per year on average.
FSLA Exempt/Non-exempt Classification:
This position is classified as non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is subject to the requirements for payment for any hours worked in excess of 40 in a week. This position is not generally expected to require hours in excess of 40 hours per week. All overtime hours worked must be approved in advance.
