Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant
- Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts for multiple entities
- Oversee accounts payable for multiple entities
- Assist month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities
- Prepare journal entries
- Reconcile bank accounts, and credit cards
- Investigating and resolving audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance
- Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts
- Assist in annual audit
Qualifications for the Staff Accountant role
- At least 2-3 years of previous accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, or finance
- Excel skills
