Our Personal Care Wipes unit, based in New York focuses on delivering high quality wipes baby wipes and facial wipes to our customers and our Unit Dose business, located in Mt Prospect, a suburb of Chicago, is a leader in the manufacturing of pods for markets ranging from Laundry and Automatic Dishwasher to carpet, scent boosters, and many others.

Background:

Radienz Living is currently hiring a Staff Accountant to join our team in Mt. Prospect, IL. The Staff Accountant will have a broad impact on the finance function at Radienz including financial statement preparation and analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, and an ability to collaborate with cross-functional team members to analyze financial data and provide actionable insights to drive profitability.

Responsibilities:

• Actively support the month, quarter and year-end close processes.
• Ensure all financial transactions within the company are accounted for in a timely manner.
• Prepare balance sheet and P&L account reconciliations to ensure financial data accuracy.
• Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts.
• Track capital project spending, related depreciation and capitalize assets.
• Support AR function including reconciling revenue and recording manual invoices accurately.
• Support AP function including entering ACH payment information for payment and recording payment into company ERP.
• Document all related processes and continue to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Cash Application and monitor and control AR aging.
• Ensure company policies and procedures are being followed.
• Implementation of new controls.
• Ad hoc projects and tasks.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree accounting.
• The Ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP accounting, financial analysis standards and best practices
• Strong working knowledge MS Excel (creating spreadsheets and using advanced formulas)
• Knowledge and experience of financial processes, reports, and software to effectively troubleshoot problems and create reports.
• Can use logic and business acumen to solve problems with effective solutions; recognizes when to escalate issues to manager.
• Confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
• Continuous improvement mindset.
• Experience with JDE Enterprise ERP system is a plus.
