Staff Accountant
Palo Alto, CA - Hybrid
$80,000 - $85,000
Option 1 Staffing is actively recruiting for a Staff Accountant to work for a fast-growing hospital with a world-class reputation. Exciting opportunity to be part of a growing department. The Staff Accountant will be involved in the normal accounting job duties including month-end close, financial reporting, budgeting, etc, and will also get exposure to other parts within the Finance and Accounting org.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual fixed asset reporting.
- Work closely with internal business partners on CIP management to ensure timely and accurate capitalization of assets.
- Process fixed asset transactions such as additions, retirements, transfers, and depreciation for capital assets in accordance with company policies.
- Manage day-to-day asset accounting processes and maintain effective internal controls around asset accounting.
- Create and maintain process documentation.
- Support finance budgeting and forecasting processes, as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in accounting
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience
- Experience working with PeopleSoft is a plus!
