Staff Accountant
Position Overview:
Johnsonville Holdings, Inc, a strong, high-growth company, has an excellent opportunity for an outstanding individual to join us as a Staff Accountant. Responsibilities:

• Prepare, execute and own monthly financial statement close process for multiple entities in Sage and QuickBooks accounting software
• Prepare monthly and year end workpapers to support trial balance amounts for multiple entities
• Process transactions and prepare financial statements for various trust entities
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations for multiple bank accounts
• Prepare and file quarterly sales tax reports
• Prepare and enter budget information in Sage for multiple entities
• Prepare and update unit ledgers for investment activity
• Maintain log of new SPE activities, Fed ID's and annual tax return status
• Support internal customers with project work and special requests
• Assist with insurance renewal process including correspondence with brokers and reviewing coverage needs
• Process accounts payable invoices for multiple entities out of Sage
• Assist sub-entity accounting staff with bookkeeping questions
• Assist with other special projects as needed

Education:

• Associate Degree required

Experience:

• Two (2) years of accounting or finance experience required

Qualifications:

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to learn quickly and think independently

• Strong communication skills, organizational and follow-up skills
• Attention to detail, highly organized and deadline driven
• Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently, embraces an environment that will experience periods of rapid change
• Proficiency in computer technologies (Excel, Word, Accounting Systems - Sage, QuickBooks or other)
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and be flexible by adjusting priorities
