Staff Accountant (60% WFH) (Financial Services)
Start ASAP - Up to $65,000 per year to start
Training is in Oak Brook, IL
Once training is complete, there are 3 WFH and 2 In-Office days per week
As Staff Accountant, you will:
- Receive complete training
- Assist with day-to-day accounting and financial operations
- Make journal entries and general ledger entries
- Reconcile accounts and assist with month-end close processes
- Monitor, track and analyze expenses
- Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
- Prepare financial statements
- Maintain manual and electronic file systems
- Handle special projects
- Provide additional 'cross-functional,' overflow and backup support within the Accounting Department as requested
An ideal candidate profile will include:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or similar
- At least 1 year of General Accounting experience
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Accurate Data Entry skills
Pluses:
- +++ At least 1 year of on-the-job Accounting experience
- +++ Intacct Software proficiency
