Staff Accountant

Position Summary:

The staff Accountant will assist the Controller and CFO with various accounting tasks within Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and GL reconciliations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform full cycle accounting responsibilities.
• Prepare bank reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close.
• Posting journal entries.
• Assist with all AP/AR responsibilities.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by the Controller and CFO.
• Review and prepare financial reports
• Assist with auditing and budgeting processes
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly interdepartmental reports as requested by the Controller and CFO.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum Qualifications, skills, and abilities:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures required.
• 1-3 years of accounting experience preferred.
• Intermediate to advance Excel preferred.
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communications skills
• Positive attitude and attention to detail.
