Staff Accountant (3+ Years Experience Required)

We work with B2B Businesses, such as Manufacturing, Wholesalers, Distribution and Professional Services, such as Consultants, Lawyers, Financial, Medical and B2C Businesses such as Auto Repair, Supply, Dealerships, and other Retail Business.

We are growing and have an immediate opening for a Staff Accountant. Typical duties will include:

Expert level bookkeeping activities for client AR and AP functions on a regular basis. Traditional “write-up” activities such as summarizing transactional data, reviewing general ledger accounts, performing account analysis and reconciliation (including bank statements and inter-company general ledger accounts), and preparing and adjusting journal entries

Performing financial compilations and consolidations for multi-company entities

Reviewing financial performance data and preparing reports

We prefer a minimum of 3 years prior experience in public accounting or similar work in a multi-client focused environment. A college degree in accounting is strongly preferred, however we will consider candidates with extensive experience in lieu of a degree.

Must be a self-motivated problem solver with the ability to perform and communicate effectively in a fast-paced, multi-client, deadline driven environment.

Strong attention to detail is necessary. Must be able to function independently as well as be a member of a team. Must be skilled in MS Excel. Preference for prior, recent QuickBooks experience.

This is a full-time position with an immediate start. We would like new hires to spend their first weeks training and acclimating to work in our office (100% in office). This can be followed by a combination of remote and in office work, mutually decided upon (likely 1-3 days in office & 2-4 days remote). This is not a 100% remote position and is not likely to become such at a later time.

Salary will be commensurate with experience.
