Staff Accountant (21-34432)

Our client, a parent company for multiple business is a looking for a Staff Accountant with at least 3- 5 years experience for it's accounting department in its Florham Park office.

This a full 40 hour work week, on-site, Monday- Friday with flexible work hours. The position will start out as a temp role, then move to perm for a successful accounting professional. If you are looking to grow with a thriving company, this is your opportunity!!!

Responsibilities include:

• Daily recording of cash transactions/journal entries for multiple locations
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and journal uploads
• Assist and support Senior leaders in Accounting, A/P, and Payroll
• Assist in review of cash reconciliations
• Ad hoc projects as assigned by management

Required Education, Experience, and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business
• Proficiency working with Excel, Word, Outlook
• Advanced in preparation and posting of journal entries
• Knowledge and experience working with banking websites (setting up Wires, ACH’s)
