The Staff Accountant will work in the private wealth and have general ledger and subsidiary journal responsibilities for multiple clients. They will be responsible for the full cycle accounts payable function, accounts receivable, payroll, bank reconciliations, investment reporting, and any other tasks and special projects assigned by management. They need to have the ability to work in a fast-paced, high transaction environment. The candidate needs to be detail oriented, accurate and have the ability to manage evolving processes and complexity. They will work closely with upper management, and other members of the private wealth accounting team. We function in a multi-client environment.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Business or Accounting. The ideal candidate will have a driven, intelligent and professional personality. The ideal candidate must enjoy working in a team environment and be able to communicate clearly with clients and other team members in person as well as remotely. Responsibilities include entering payables, completing bookkeeping entries, reconciling bank accounts and credit cards, and communicating with clients and team members.
As this individual will be starting in a remote working environment, the ideal candidate must be comfortable using technology such a Zoom and Microsoft Teams for training and communication.

- Working knowledge of the general ledger, accounts payable, and bank reconciliations functions
- One to three years bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Ability to prioritize and work in a multi-client environment
- Positive attitude and desire to contribute as a member of a team

- Familiarity with accounting for investments a plus
- Great Plains experience a plus
- Certified Bookkeeper a plus
