Description
We are seeking an experienced Staff Accountant for a full-time position working out of one of our many branch locations.
This position includes the following responsibilities:
· Preparing or reviewing Bank level and holding company consolidated reconciliations, schedules, internal, external and regulatory reports.
· The quarterly preparation, review and filing of the Call Report with the FDIC and the financial statements with the SEC (10-Qs, 10-Ks, other SEC filings).
· Assist with compliance with FIDICIA/SOX requirements for internal controls over financial reporting.
· Preparation or review of various monthly and quarterly internal Management and Board reports.
· Assist with the budget process and analysis of actual results compared to budget.
· Prepare or review various other subsidiary reconciliations, to include fixed assets.
· Review, analysis, communication and implementation of GAAP, SEC and regulatory pronouncements as assigned.
Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
Experience with financial application software and the ability to work independently are essential.
Required traits include being detail oriented, analytical, organized, deadline oriented and efficient.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are critical for success, as is the ability to interact with various levels at the Bank or external organizations.
Salary will be commensurate with experience.
