Position Summary Details
ABM, a leading provider of integrated facility solutions, is looking for a Stadium Floor Technician to complete assigned cleaning and maintenance of carpet and hard surface floors as well as floor care machine preventive maintenance. Part Time based on events; including weekends. Starting at $18/hour Location: Downtown Phoenix
Essential Functions
- Cleans and maintains buildings/facilities. Performs heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish.
- Notifies managers concerning the need for minor or major repairs or additions to building operating systems
- Establishes and maintains effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc.
- Complies with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities
- Cleaner must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks that are assigned.
Floor Tech Responsibilities
- Scrubber operator
- Carpet extraction
- Burnishing
- Buffing
- Strip & Wax floors
- Backpack blowing seating bowl
- Pressure washing
- Measuring chemicals correctly. Operating chemical dispensing units.
- Labeling chemicals correctly.
- Cleaning, maintaining, and storing equipment and PPE proficiently.
- Keeping an inventory of floor areas, and scheduling cleaning and maintenance duties.
- Reporting maintenance issues to supervisor.
- Assisting with the hazardous waste collection as requested by the supervisor.
Floor Tech Requirements:
- Undeterred by exposure to hazardous chemicals, bodily fluids, and communicable and infectious diseases.
- Resilient to noise.
- Physically agile.
- Excellent communication skills.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Customer Service Experience
- 1 yr of similar work experience
