Job Description
Clearance requirement: Candidates must currently possess a DoD SECRET clearance or be eligible to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance.
SciTech Services is seeking a Senior Warehouse Inventory Specialist. This individual will provide hands-on Warehouse Inventory support and other miscellaneous support relevant to Warehouse Inventory operations. This support will be provided to the Protection Division and the Threat Agent Sciences Division of the Research and Operations Directorate at the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command Chemical Biological Center (DEVCOM CBC). The focus of the work will be operating the warehouse and its inventory. The individual will be required to perform shipping and receiving, packing, and unpacking products and to work quickly and efficiently while maintaining accuracy and safety standards.
Duties include:

• Receive packages, sort, verify and deliver items to end user and turn in packing slips to relevant Government credit card holder.
• Track, sort and maintain all inventory. Inform relevant Government credit card holders when items need to be ordered. Maintain an office in the storeroom.
• Order and receive specialty gas cylinders. Maintain inventory of specialty gas cylinders in cylinder shed and various labs.
• Take appropriate Recovery Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) classes. Use HPRM System, perform chemical inventory, create barcodes in the system,
• Order appropriate chemicals for end users and track chemicals in all the labs.
• Work alongside scientific and engineering personnel to design, build and test solutions to a variety of technical problems.
• Responsible for lab trash only and removing broken glass boxes. Sweep and mop warehouse.
• Empty boxes from delivery of various items or lab equipment and disposal of boxes in dumpster.
• Check and maintain Eye Wash Station and Shower Station and maintain monthly safety compliance status.
• Conduct monthly or quarterly checks on butyl gloves.
• Assist in escorting visitors.
• Perform lab coat Laundry.

Required Knowledge, Experience, Expertise and/or Ability:

• Expertise in operating hand trucks, carts, power lifts and other material handling equipment in performing warehouse duties.
• Demonstrated experience in maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
• Knowledge of relevant occupational safety and RCRA regulations within a warehouse environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.

Job Requirements

• Prior hands-on work experience of at least 15 years as a warehouse Inventory Specialist in a relevant industrial or Government environment.
• Knowledge of appropriate software including: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat.
• Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with internal and external customers, and to work independently.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
