IMEG is growing, and we'd love to have you join our team! We are currently seeking a Senior Virtual Designer Coordinator in our Greenwood Village, CO office.
As a Senior Virtual Design Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting team production and the training and development of existing Virtual Design Coordinators. This position will provide Revit support for MEP engineers and designers, set up Revit Models, Review and resolve 3D conflicts of MEP systems with other components within the Revit environment and pickup directed MEP drafting / modeling redlines from MEP engineering's and designer. This position will have the option to work as a hybrid in office and working from home.
Some key duties and responsibilities include:
- Meet on a regular basis with group of Virtual Design Coordinators and Senior Virtual Design Coordinators.
- Evaluate performance and adherence to standards of Virtual Design Coordinators within their group, on a regular basis and develop action plans to bring non-compliant teams up to speed.
- Develop and present training and support for a group of Virtual Design Coordinators and team Virtual Design Specialists.
- Work to standardize workflows and practices between offices and teams.
- Work closely with Director of Virtual Design to ensure corporate standards are being met.
- Responsible for the management of project models for all disciplines.
- Provide team specific training and troubleshooting for US and India staff on team
- Act as a leader and coach in the use of BIM to increase team confidence in BIM and Revit.
- Be an active participant in Virtual Design development.
- Team Coordinator Duties as listed.
Key skills and abilities needed for the position are:
- Future: Achievement of IMEG Certified VDC rank
- Strong Revit knowledge with emphasis on project setup and model management.
- Ability to troubleshoot Revit/design software issues independently.
- Demonstrated leadership within the Virtual Design organization at IMEG Corp.
- High level of written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate with all level of colleagues and clients.
- High level of professionalism.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate with all levels of colleagues and clients.
- Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in the production of technical plans and drawings.
- Skill in the use of Microsoft Office programs.
- Knowledge of practical applications of engineering science and technology.
Education and experience requirements are:
- An Associate's Degree in Computer-Aided Drafting, equivalent degree, or five years' experience required;
- 3+ years experience in the production of construction documents and models preferred.
Salary Range $85,000.00 - $110,000.00. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay will be based on several factors including experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant. Other rewards may include annual bonuses and stock ownership options.
