Sr Test Software Engineer

The Team

As part of Graphiant engineering team, you will be responsible for the development of Graphiant's offerings and execute on the Product and Portfolio strategy.

The Work

Your primary responsibilities in this role will be to build testing infrastructure and suites of automated test cases for theGraphiant'scloud-based management system.

You will:

• Build a system-test infrastructure for cloud based micro service application

• Build the integration test infrastructure for micro service application

• Build the test infrastructure for UI testing

• Build testing infrastructure for end-2-end testing of theGraphiantnetwork management solution

• Build testing infrastructure for production environment testing of theGraphiantnetwork management solution

• Create test plans for application testing

• Write automated test cases for application features

• Write automated test cases for service and infrastructure failure scenarios

Competencies

• Experience with service discovery tools; Zookeeper,HashiCorpconsul, Kubernetes or similar software

• Experience with messaging systems;ZeroMQ, RabbitMQ, Kafka or similar

• Experience of different SQL and No-SQL datastores; MySQL, MongoDB,ElasticSearch,InfluxDB, Redis, DynamoDB, Cassandra or similar

• Experience with L3/L4/L7 load balancers, geo-location usertargetting, web servers

• Network management technologiesexperience;gRPC, Netconf, SNMP, NetFlow, IPFIX

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree, or higher, in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent experience

• 10+ years of building test infrastructure for applications

• Proficient in Python, Perl or similar languages

• Experience testing micro service applications

• Experience testing cloud-based applications

• Experience testing web browser-based application front end

• Experience working with REST API and associated technologies;gRPC, thrift, JSON, XML or similar

$150,000/year to $220,000/year. In addition to a competitive base salary, this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance, and location.
