What you will do for Siemens Smart Infrastructure: This position performs commissioning of fire safety systems, includingloading software programs and implementing modifications. Systems include firesafety, mass notification, detectors, and field peripherals. You will communicate design details tocustomers, installation and service teams, and subcontractors.
You will alsointerface with other trades to successfully complete projects while exceedingcustomers' expectations. This role acts as a mentor and provideson-the-job training to less-experienced technicians. Responsibilities: Operational Testing, Verification, and Acceptance: Run routine reports toreview system operation.
Participate in final inspection and testing. Supportcustomer acceptance and the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ). Assist withcustomer training on system operations.
Complete and submit routine writtenreports. Provide plans and fire safety system documents to engineering foras-built drawings. Identify code and non-conformance issues and makerecommendations for system installation.
ProjectSite Communication and Coordination: May support others in the scheduling oftrade contractors to coordinate start-up services as needed. Adhere to local,corporate, and OSHA safety policies and procedures.
