The UCC Senior System Administrator is instrumental in the technical architecture design planning, acquisition, implementation and daily administration of all organizational communications systems.
Duties include functions such as call processing, signaling and device control, phone feature administrations, software installations and perform system upgrades to enhance performance. Under minimal supervision, the Sr. System Administrator Unified Communications is also responsible for quality assurance testing, ensuring overall data integrity, and maintaining consistency in setup across the system. As business needs evolve, or efficiencies are identified, this position will identify necessary system changes and initiate project requests to facilitate changes across the system.
Education
Bachelor's Degree: in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Required)
Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Experience
1 Year experience large-scale VoIP telephony environment (Required)
5 Years experience with Cisco Unified Communication Administration (Required)
2 Years experience and proficiency with SIP trunking (Preferred)
License/Certifications
CCENT - Cisco Cert Entry Network Techn (Preferred) or CCNAC - Cisco Cert Network Assoc Colab (Preferred) or CCNAV - Cisco Cert Network Assoc Voice (Preferred)
