Sr Survey Technician/ Sit, A Plus

Landpoint is seeking a Senior Survey Technician in the Fort Worth office.  Extensive surveying experience and ability to prepare drawings in Auto CAD Civil 3d required.

Boundary Determination experience a MUST

Must be able to calculate deed data with a thorough understanding of legal descriptions and application.  

Also, the candidate must be able to work independently and in a fast paced environment.  Must be self-motivated, and require little to no supervision.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities: 

• Actively participates in the Quality Control/ Quality Assurance process.
• Job Calculation (Reviewing of field crew notes.)
• Ensure all projects conducted to a high standard which meets or exceeds client requirements.
• Preparing Drafting Surveys (ALTA's, LSP's, Topographic Surveys, Subdivision Plats and Construction Staking Layouts using Trimble Business Center and AutoCAD Civil 3D)
• Prepare working drawing of field survey for review by RPLS to determine property boundaries.
• Prepare and maintain CAD based drawings.
• Prepare survey deliverables and right away plans.
• Communicate and requests data from engineers and survey field crew.
• Communicates with other employees regarding project schedules.
• Communicate with clients.
• Other duties as necessary and/or assigned by supervisor.

Desired Qualifications:

• 2+ years of survey tech/drafting experience highly preferred
• AutoCAD Civil 3D experience
• Survey / Title work experience
• Legal / Property description knowledge
• Graduation from a standard high school or possession of a G.E.D. Certificate
• Possession and maintenance of a valid Driver's License
