Ocean Spray is hiring for a(n) Sr. Supply Planner! We’re a team of farmers, thinkers, creators, and doers. Position Location: We're all about flexibility. This will be a remoterole based out of our corporate headquarters in Lakeville, MA. We are open to remote candidates.
Ocean Spray is looking for a talented and driven Senior Supply Planner to join our Global Supply Chain team.
A Day in the Life...
• Create the master production schedule and inventory plan for Ocean Spray beverage manufacturing facilities and contract manufacturing partners.• Responsible for configuring the planning systems to deliver the supply plan for manufacturing, distribution and procurement activities.• Collaborate with manufacturing locations to manage schedule exceptions due to issues such as material or ingredient shortfalls and unplanned downtime.• Responsible for the management of finished goods inventory as it flows from point of manufacture to distribution centers, ensuring that quantities are supplied to the appropriate locations to meet customer demand.• Create deployment strategies for inventory allocation and configure deployment planning system to generate transfer orders.• Monitor the age of finished goods inventory and initiate transfers to reduce unsaleable product.• Recommend production plans and changes that balance customer demand and manufacturing efficiency.• Communicate constraints and negotiate solutions that meet the needs of the company, and execute against the agreed upon plan.• Play a leading role in aligning operational activities to meet the inventory demands of the company.• Represent Supply Planning in new product initiatives, communicating production strategies to the project team while providing tactical leadership to bring new items to market.
What We Are Looking For:
• Bachelor’s Degree required• 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain• Experience in MRP, ERP with SAP & JDA/Blue Yonder• Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills• Attention to detail• Strong communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills• Ability to work independently with directional supervision• Excellent computer skills

Annual Salary:
