Job Summary
Lead a team of SQA Analysts in conducting test analysis, test planning, and test execution. Manage Software Quality assurance verification activities in order to ensure that MultiPlan applications function correctly and that they meet the requirements of the Company's customers.
Job Roles and Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with product owners, developers, and other stakeholders to understand software requirements and acceptance criteria
  2. Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases to validate functionality, performance and reliability
  3. Execute manual and automated tests with meticulous attention to detail, analyzing results and identifying areas of improvements
  4. Designing, implementing and maintaining automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks
  5. Perform thorough regression testing to ensure the stability of existing features after changes are made, while minimizing the risk of regression issues
  6. Document defects and track them through resolution, working closely with development team
  7. Participate actively in code reviews and provide constructive feedback on quality-related issues to foster a culture of continuous improvement
  8. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to continuously improve testing processes and methodologies, leveraging feedbacks and lessons learnt from previous projects
  9. Provide leadership and guidance to the quality assurance team, including mentoring junior team members and facilitating knowledge sharing
  10. Lead by example in promoting best practices for testing, documentation, and quality assurance processes with the organization
  11. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements
  12. Demonstrate commitment to the company's core value

JOB SCOPE:
The incumbent works with appreciable latitude to make judgments and act independently within general guidelines and standards. An incumbent possesses and applies a broad knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures of specialization to the completion of difficult assignments. Matters of a more complex nature or outside those standards are discussed consultatively with appropriate business owners to determine proper resolution. Incumbent may serve as the lead in team projects.

Required Technical Skills:
  • Strong understanding and experience in API testing, including testing RESTful and SOAP APIs using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, ReadyAPI or similar
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools such as

  • Junit/TestNG: For unit testing in Java
  • Cucumber/Gherkin: For behavior-driven development BDD testing
  • Jenkins: For continuous integration and continuous development (CI/CD) automation
  • JMeter: For performance testing
  • Robot Framework: For acceptance testing and acceptance test-driven development (ATDD)

  • Hands-on experience in automated testing tools such as Selenium, including creating and maintaining automated test scripts
  • Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL, with ability to write and execute complex queries for data validation and verification purpose

  • Experience working with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, including creating and updating user stories, tasks, and test cases, tracking defects, and documenting test plans and results

Preferred:
  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree, or 10 years of IT experience working with software

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in Software Quality assurance, with focus on manual and automated testing
  • Knowledge of healthcare domain terminologies and experience in testing claims processing system is highly desirable
  • Relevant certifications such as ISTQB or CSTE
  • Experience working in Agile tea. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment
  • Proven expertise in testing methodologies, test planning and test case development
  • Experience in providing guidance and support to stakeholders on quality-related matters, advocating for quality assurance best practices, and ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulations
  • Ability to operate in a dynamic change environment

This addition communicates the expectation for candidate to be open to traveling to the office when required, ensuring alignment with company's work policies and procedures
COMPENSATION
The salary range for this position is $115K.Specific offers take into account a candidate's education, experience and skills, as well as the candidate's work location and internal equity. This position is also eligible for health insurance, 401k and bonus opportunity.
