As a Software Engineer at CoverMyMeds, you’ll create solutions that make our healthcare system work more efficiently and effectively in order to help millions of people receive their prescription medications every year. You’ll build products that our partners in healthcare use every day and innovate products that don’t even exist yet. You’ll work on small, cross-functional and collaborative teams with endless opportunities to take on responsibility, continue learning and mentor others.

CRITICAL SKILLS

  • 8+ years of full stack engineering experience with C#, .NET Core.
  • 5+ years of experience in microservice architecture and RESTful Apis.
  • 4+ years’ experience with frontend frameworks like React.
  • 4+ years’ experience in leading team of developers in an agile environment
  • Intermediate experience in SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
  • Knowledge of Azure and AKS preferred.
  • Knowledge of streaming platforms like Kafka preferred.

NON-TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Able to collaborate with our Product partners to understand product requirements and roadmaps and bring clear decision and clarity back to the team to deliver desired outcomes.
  • Proven ability to lead and execute the development roadmap for complex, multi-phase projects with cross-functional teams.
  • Be a champion of communication, bringing the necessary clarity and context to all members of the Agile team.
  • Mentor and positively influence how different teams organize and execute their work.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • B.S. degree in Computer Science or related engineering discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in software development in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop web applications and APIs on React and .NET Core.
  • Jump into both the front-end and back-end of solutions, with the exact balance depending on the project and team.
  • Own the quality of the solutions you create through unit testing, and support and maintain your solutions.
  • Contribute to a productive agile environment by partnering closely with necessary stakeholders, deploying often, and inspecting and adapting as needed.
  • Provide technical leadership to cross-functional teams of engineers in the design, development, and deployment of innovative software solutions.
  • Lead the design and implementation of complex software systems, considering factors such as performance, security, and integration and helping the teams to resolve know issues.
  • Ensure adherence to coding standards, perform code reviews, and implement best practices to maintain high-quality codebases.
  • Identify potential risks and challenges in projects and devise efficient mitigation strategies. Act proactively to avoid roadblocks and ensure smooth project execution.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team, encouraging innovation, efficiency, and collaborative problem-solving.
