Overview
- T. Rowe Price Associates, Inc. seeks a Sr. Software Development Engineer in Test in Owings Mills, MD to:
- Design, develop and implement technical solutions using custom-created automated testing code to test applications throughout the Software Development lifecycle.
- Perform independent investigation, analysis, and evaluation to determine the best fit technologies for the business’ current and future needs.
- Provide technical guidance and apply senior business knowledge to improve in-house and customer facing systems and processes.
- Mentor developers, analysts, and business partners on best practices and establish automation development technical standards using OO programming, Cypress, Protractor, Selenium, open-source SDET tools, and deliver technical and non-technical solutions to business units.
Requirements
- Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field plus 5+ years of exp in software testing using automation and automation development.
- Requires 5+ years of exp with object-oriented systems design and development, data analysis, reporting, and complex algorithm programming for IT business solutions for financial industry clients.
- Requires 5+ years of exp with open source SDET tools and senior automated testing solutions for the entire Software Development lifecycle.
- Requires 5+ years of exp with selenium web driver, programming languages like Core JAVA, RUBY, JAVASCRIPT, Protractor, JMeter, and TestNG/Junit.
FINRA Requirements
FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.
Work Flexibility
This role is eligible for remote work up to three days a week.
