We are expanding our team and seeking a highly experienced Senior Developer with expertise in cloud platform and virtualization technologies, specifically containers and associated technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cloud Platform Development: Lead the development and optimization of cloud-native solutions using containerization technologies.
- Infrastructure as Code: Design and implement infrastructure as code solutions for automating deployment, scaling, and management of applications in cloud environments.
- Container Orchestration: Utilize container orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker Swarm) to manage containerized applications, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Cloud-Native Architecture: Contribute to the design and implementation of cloud-native architectures, leveraging microservices and serverless technologies.
- Collaborative Development: Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate containerization capabilities into existing and new products.
- Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks in containerized deployments, optimizing resource utilization and application performance.
- Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment, and monitoring of containerized applications.
- Code Review and Mentorship: Conduct rigorous code reviews, offer constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on cloud platform and virtualization technologies.
- Proficiency in containerization technologies such as Docker, container orchestration platforms, and associated tools.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native principles, including microservices architecture, containerization, and orchestration.
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of Linux environments and open-source technologies related to cloud computing is a plus.
- Experience with distributed file systems, network protocols, and parallel file systems is highly desirable.
