SalaryLooking for a Senior Scientist to join our R&D Analytics group at Abbott Molecular. In this role, a scientist will:
- design and optimize the mathematical algorithms that translate a chemical signal into a clinical result
- mine large datasets to identify trends or anomalies, then dive deep to get to a mechanistic root cause
- develop digital and AI/ML systems
- support our entire product catalog from development through on-market support
- perform bioinformatic analyses
The candidate must have:
- a PhD in biology, physics, or chemistry
- a good understanding of molecular biology (especially PCR)
- strong Python programming experience
- strong mathematical intuition
- excellent investigative data analysis skills
Ideally, the candidate would have hands-on experience with:
- cloud computing (preferably in AWS)
- SQL
- machine learning methods
- git
- Linux
- Bioinformatics
- PowerBI
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Salary: $35.00 - $37.00 per hour
