Sr. Replenishment Manager
Location: Bentonville, AR
This customer-facing supply chain leader reports directly to the VP, Walmart and Ecomm Sales. The priority of the role is to identify, direct, and align the operational resources and requirements to successfully/profitably manage the account/channel supply chain needs. Position requires a fundamental understanding of the customer(s) replenishment procedures, supply chain disciplines (such as inventory and promotion management), Retail Link, NOVA, Supply Plan, CPFR, S&OP, direct import, logistics, forecast/demand planning and order/product flow. The leader must be able to effectively recognize supply chain improvement areas, KPIs and successfully communicate across the organization to secure the deployment of activities which facilitate sales growth, profitability gains, customer-service metrics improvement and reputational capital gain.
Responsibilities:

  • Customer:
o Instock (Retail Link) – Daily understanding of customer instock to drive proactive / corrective action. Customer may require regular or ad hoc reporting, but many internal actions and conversations should be driven off of current instock and its recent trends.
o OTIF (On-Time, In-Full) (Retail Link) – Weekly or ad hoc reporting of OTIF, its drivers, and corrective actions can be required by the customer, but are necessary for the internal process improvements that drive high service levels. We also need to capture and communicate any reason why particular POs should not be considered for OTIF tracking.
o Fill Rate Root Cause and Correction – Weekly reporting of fill rate, the root causes of supply gaps, and the get well dates at the customer shelf are required by the customer.
o GRS (Walmart’s Replenishment System) Forecast Analysis – Weekly analysis of item level customer POS forecast and its comparison to actual POS drives improved instocks and more predictable demand trends.
o Daily / Weekly Customer Interaction
o Manage Customer Expectations – Building trust with customer that allows us to favorably shape their expectations.
o Submit Replenishment Related Forms to Customer – Weekly PO Maintenance, MABD Extensions, and Cancellation forms.
o Feature or Mod Fill PO Tracking – Track and communicate the lifecycle of feature and modular fill POs.
o Product Allocation – Allocating constrained inventory to stores with the largest need.
o Period End Activities – Working with customer contacts to attempt to find and fill any inventory need or gain approval to ship inventory sooner.
o Plan and Communicate Holiday Closures – Walmart requires the communication of facility closures approximately one quarter before the events through a closure template that they provide.
o New Modular Validation – Utilize Retail Link to validate that the correct number of stores per item are future traited and then become active at the modular set date.
o Ladder Plans – Weekly completion and communication of ladder plans (internal inventory positions and internal inbound orders) to customer, complete with correction of errors and get well dates (when will WM be back instock).
o Reviewing Orders – Daily review of new orders to look for any unexpected quantities or omissions. Correct with customer.
o Seasonal Planning – Internally coordinating seasonal lifts by item and then working with the customer Replenishment and Financial Planning contacts to update GRS to reflect the planned lifts.
  • Internal:
o Internal Forecast Analysis – Weekly analysis of item level demand forecast and its comparison to customer shipments, POS forecast, and POS performance are required to improve product supply performance.
o Transportation Lane Analysis – Weekly analysis of transportation performance by lane is required to understand trends and to suggest lead time or process time changes to the customer.
o Collaborate Internally to Predict and Solve Supply Gaps
o Collaborate with Sales Team to project monthly, quarterly, annual shipments forecast and align with the supply plan.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years CPG business experience marked with significant experience addressing/resolution customer supply chain proceedings or demand planning tasks.
  • High level of proficiency in executive level communication.
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to provide professional analysis to executive leadership at our customers and within Pure Fishing.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suites with particularly strong abilities with Excel in Access
  • Demonstrated communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and sound financial acumen
  • Customer Service focused
  • SAP – APO experience a plus
