About the Role
Magnit is building a Strategic Program office to centralize program and project management of the top company strategic initiatives to ensure prioritization, aligned execution, and success.
The Sr PM will focus on Finance Transformation - Magnit’s finance organization is in the midst of a 3 year finance transformation journey to redesign critical processes and implement enterprise level tools to drive efficiency through standardization and automation as well as homogenize and stabilize the impacts of recent acquisitions and rapid growth.
What You Will Do
The Sr Project Manager (PM) and will manage multiple programs and projects directly or in partnership with consultants and implementation vendors partnering with our finance team to implement best in class processes, new tooling, ERP integration, tax process streamlining, entity rationalization, Procure to Pay process redesign, MDM and BI cloud tools, and various other transformational areas.
What You Will Need
- 5-10 years experience project management experience
- Expert level project management skills including prioritization, scheduling, and documentation, and change management
- Experience working with external implementation partners and consultants
- Ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple implementation plans in coordination with implementation vendor project management teams and internal resources
- Experienced user of industry standard PM tools (Smartsheet, Microsoft projects, etc)
- Excellent meeting, workshop, and facilitation skills, with proven knowledge of how to foster attendee participation and collaboration in small and large groups
- Experience working with finance teams, fluency in finance terminology and key processes
- Solid technical understanding and ability to define and refine requirements through a project life cycle
- Employs strong analytical and problem-solving skills to manage shifting priorities, demands, and timelines
- Positive, can-do attitude with the ability to succeed in a fast-paced work environment
