Position Summary
As the Sr. Project Manager - Fraud, Waste & Abuse (FWA) Programs, you will oversee the implementation of the FWA SI Monetization program, delivering over $4M of incremental revenue in year 1, and growing that impact in subsequent years. Your work will directly impact the CVS Health Payment Optimization Analytics goals and contribute to achieving revenue & ROI targets for analytics products.
Key Duties will be:
- Accountable for the development, implementation and ongoing management of moderately complex projects, which typically impact more than one of the following: process, system, product and/or function and may run a year or more in duration.
- Develops and implements project plans to achieve business goals. Proactively supports project and/or business by creating project documents, timeline identifying key milestones and additional resources needed on selected project(s). Identifies gaps and recommends enhancements related to new and/or existing products, services and workflows based on broad view of the organization. Solicits and evaluates internal and external customer feedback to enhance continuous quality improvement. Works directly with vendors and customers to do issue resolution. Group facilitation/presentation influencing various internal (these may be cross-functional/segment) and external parties (e.g., vendor management).
- Identifies issues that may stall project and addresses them by either direct resolution, creating an alternative solution, or escalation to leadership. Tracks progress and communicates project(s) status on a regular basis to all impacted parties. Builds communication plans for implementation to ensure all impacted parties (up stream/down stream) are informed of next steps for completion. Acts as an advocate for change and may require influencing others to see the value in project, including managing interpersonal sensitivities and articulating the strategic view to ensure project alignment.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of Project Management experience
- 2+ years of claims processing experience or End to End claims knowledge
- Strong organizational skills
- Experience developing best practice documentation
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven ability to affect change
- Proven track record in meeting project milestones and negotiating for resources
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills (written and verbal)
- Vendor management experience
- Knowledge/experience with Lean Project Management or Six Sigma
Education
- BS/BA or equivalent experience and 5-7 years of equivalent experience with healthcare, claims processing or vendor management
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$97,335.00 - $201,900.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
