About the Role:
We are CrowdStrike, a fast-growing security company that protects our wide range of customers from cybersecurity attacks. We’re investing in Project Managers who are energetic, eager to learn, flexible and capable of managing large scale/complex cross-functional projects in a fast-paced environment. As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a key role in driving the successful execution of our business transformation initiatives, focusing on New Product Introduction (NPI). This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a newly formed team at the forefront of shaping the future of our organization. You’ll work closely across functional teams to collaborate and ensure dependencies are well known, critical issues are identified and driven to resolution.
What You'll Do:
- Project Leadership - Lead and oversee end-to-end project management for New Product Introduction initiatives within the business transformation portfolio. Ensures critical issues are identified, tracked through resolution, and escalated if necessary.
- Communication and Coordination - Facilitate effective communication and coordination among cross-functional launch teams, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives. Serve as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders. Manages senior level project/program communication and status reporting. Reduce departmental silos to increase collaboration and productivity
- Strategic Planning - Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and implement strategic launch plans.
- Process Improvement - Embrace the challenge of working in an evolving and nascent process. Demonstrate a passion for iteration and continuous improvement. Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in NPI processes.
- Stakeholder Engagement - Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Provide regular updates and status reports on project progress.
What You'll Need:
- 7+ years of experience working in a program/project management capacity for software development.
- Seasoned team player that manages and alleviates (instead of running from) persistent obstacles
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at various levels.
- Demonstrable experience with Organizational Change Management and Adoption
- Experience owning a program/ portfolio of products/features, scoping requirements, planning milestones, and being an active resource for technical teams.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and evolving environment.
- Must enjoy consensus-driven environments where collaboration, honest and open communications are paramount.
- Must work effectively and professionally with cross-functional groups across divisions, worldwide, as part of a team.
- Must exhibit meticulous attention to detail, and have the ability to make logical, timely decisions.
- Demonstrate self-learning capabilities, taking initiative in a fast pace/quickly changing environment.
Bonus Points:
- PMI or Agile Alliance (or equivalent) certification preferred
- M&A and SaaS experience
