The Team:
We are seeking an exceptionally driven and seasoned Senior Product Manager to become a key member of our Risk Platform team. Your role will be instrumental in shaping the future of our scalable, AI-powered, and intelligent Risk Decision and Insights platform. As the transformative leader of this product, you will be responsible for crafting the product's strategy and driving its execution. Your expertise will play a pivotal role in fostering the adoption of deep learning and generative AI technologies!
The Role:
We're looking for someone who possesses hands-on experience in platform development, a deep understanding of marketplace risk dynamics, and insight into how fraudsters may exploit Gen AI. Your role will involve harnessing Gen AI technologies to deliver a ground breaking 'Platform as a Service' solution that effectively addresses the ever-evolving landscape of risk trends!
Responsibilities:
Lead product strategy and execution of Decision Platform; develop and effectively champion product strategy to empower business to easily implement, execute, and enforce decision strategies across all user flows
Build and implement a compelling roadmap supporting our Decision platform to enable risk and compliance management
Drive epic and sprint level prioritization, product backlog grooming and be the process owner of business RTB requests
Be customer centric and make sure product asks and feedback are addressed with proper actions
Work very closely with Engineering/Business partners and senior product managers to contribute to building a solid risk foundation/platform product backlog
Synthesize your product ideas/designs with cross-functional teams and/or with other Risk counterparts such as Identity, Policy, Policy Operations, Rule writers and Decision Sciences
May need to collaborate and work closely with eBay global engineering, product and business stakeholders such as teams in EU and China
Strong and positive interpersonal skills to lead the product conversations especially when the problem is ambiguous
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree, MS/MBA preferred
Minimum of 6+ years of Product Management experience with expertise in one or more of following areas - Risk, Payments or e-Commerce
2+ years experience in core platform product management. Knowledge of Decision Platforms for Fraud Detection/Risk Management and/or Building Machine Learning Infrastructure is a huge plus
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a dynamic environment using a data-driven and analytical approach
Experience with product development lifecycle, process flows and working in an agile environment
Standout colleague with empathy for our customers (both internal and external) and desire to understand their needs, wants and concerns
Self-starter with the ability to present/assert/pursue independent ideas and drive them to execution with minimal mentorship; think strategically and execute tactically
Proficiency in basic data analysis using tool such as Excel, SQL, Tableau
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment in California, Washington, or New York is expected in the range below.
$135,200 - $205,700Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
