Salary Range Information
Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
Salary Range
$95200 - $182400 / year

This role offers in-office, hybrid (blending at least three office days in a typical workweek), and remote work arrangements (only if residing more than 30 miles from Des Moines, IA. You'll work with your leader to figure out which option may align best based on several factors.

- Lead Product Development projects designing and launching variable annuity products.
- Work with our wholesaling teams to train and promote our products aligned with our profit goals and objectives.
- Stay current on industry trends and utilize the data to recommend and make product changes.
- Work with marketing to develop sales materials, illustrations and product training.
- Work with our legal, compliance and filing teams to register/file new products with regulatory bodies.

Who You Are
- Bachelor's degree - preferred in Finance, Actuarial Science or Mathematics.
- 6+ years of work experience in an insurance and/or investment Product Development position.
- Working knowledge of actuarial concepts
- Strong knowledge of product research, development, design and investment
- Advanced planning/organizational, problem-solving, analytical, management, presentation, listening, and written and oral communication skills
- Strong leadership and negotiation skills, along with excellent time management and decision-making skills
- Big picture thinking and results oriented
- Ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy while being detail oriented
- Confidentiality is essential
- Series 6 registration required within 6 months
- Working knowledge of PC-based applications I.E. Microsoft Office
- Travel may be required: 5%
- Variable annuity experience
- FSA, ASA or CPA designation
