We are seeking a Senior Payroll Analyst to join a global organization in Enfield, CT as an important part of the team focusing on HRIS, payroll and data analytic activities. This individual will be a problem solver, responding to customer requests while also performing routine tasks. Work performed will strengthen the Company's management of employee data and transform the HRIS function!

Responsibilities:

  • Process weekly, bi-weekly and monthly (when applicable) payroll.
  • Review timesheets and attendance records and correct inaccuracies.
  • Responsible for month, quarter and year-end processes.
  • Perform audits, prepares compliance reporting, assist in tax-filing and other reconciliation and reporting.
  • Design and implement procedures to streamline and document the payroll process.
  • Process all requested bonus and commission payouts.
  • Generate all final wage payments and organize severance payments when applicable.
  • Maintain data integrity through regular audits of both payroll and HRIS databases.
  • Create, generate, and maintain all reporting from payroll and HRIS databases.
  • Set-up and maintain all data connections in and out of ADP.
  • Collect data and submit all compliance reports like EEO-1, Vets-100 and any state and local requirements.
  • Set-up annual merit review parameters in ADP compensation dash board.
  • Track, monitor, and adjust employee data resulting from changes in employee status; communicate changes to managers and HRBP’s where necessary.
  • Assist with generating benefit census data and other benefit data for compliance reporting.
  • Optimize the performance of HR systems, gather data, and make recommendations based on performance metrics.
  • Assist with design, documentation and training related to HRIS processes.
  • Consult with HR team members and other departments, employee and mangers to determine HRIS needs.
  • Developing and implementing new processes and systems for efficient HR management.
  • Performing statistical analysis on gathered HRIS data and running queries.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of payroll and HRIS experience performing hands-on daily tasks.
  • Professional certifications (CEBS, CPP, or PHR) desired but not required.
  • Strong organizational skills with keen ability to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Advanced knowledge of ADP.
  • Excellent communicator (oral and written) including the desire to ask questions and learn from co-workers.
  • Experience in documenting processes and in analyzing HRIS and HR metrics.
  • Experience with ADP WorkforceNow strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
