Role Description
Sr. Patient Engagement Managers are critical leaders in our organization. Sr. PEMs are responsible for closely developing and managing a team of Patient Engagement Managers. Sr. PEMs are responsible for OakWellâs patient growth for their region. Sr. PEMs are expected to review metrics daily, support growth initiatives, coach staff members and generally ensure the Patient Engagement team operates smoothly and successfully.
The Sr. Patient Engagement Manager will report to the OakWell manager.
OakWell Sr. PEM typically works from a Fresenius dialysis clinic 4-5 days per week.
Responsibilities:
Manage and develop a team of 3-6 Patient Engagement Managers
Coach direct reports in sales strategy, pipeline management, opportunity management and career planning/development
Be accountable for hitting your own patient acquisition targets and driving accountability within your team
Nurturing prospective patients and prospect for new patients with an ambitious mentality via email, phone, and networking
Maintaining consistent touchpoints with prospects to continuously engage prospects to drive new patient growth in assigned territory
Capture and record customer information and sales activity data into the customer relationship management (CRM) system and appropriate business system
Recruit, retain, and nurture your team of sales professionals with high potential and strong performance history
Provide skill training and mentoring on business account engagement and prospect engagement, including consistent and regular lobbying with Patient Engagement Managers
Provide an unmatched experience for patients and prospects
Maintain a strong relationship between OakWell care team
Lead by example for your Patient Engagement team
Develop both the long-term vision and strategy for the team and manage day-to-day sales team operations
Coach, mentor and guide the team in developing consultative and solution-based sales skills
Remain up to date with all compliance regulations and ensure your team remains compliant according to OakWell
Share best practices for prospect and business account engagement

What weâre looking for:
Weâre looking for motivated, experienced Sr. Patient Engagement Managers with:
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of in a sales management role or other comparable management position
Strong computer skills, including:
Ability to create and analyze excel spreadsheets
Experience managing through a CRM system, ideally Salesforce
Analytical approach toward sales data & performance
Comfort with personal sales target in addition to management responsibilities
US work authorization
Access to personal transportation with a valid driver's license
Strongly Preferred Qualifications:
Outstanding management skills with the ability to motivate a team
Strong focus on data and analytics to drive targeted activities and return on growth efforts
Excellent relationship management skills
Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a positive attitude
