Role Overview:
We are seeking a talented Node.js Backend API Developer with expertise in AWS, GCP, Terraform, Python, and Jenkins to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend APIs and services for our software products. This role requires strong programming skills, experience with cloud platforms, and proficiency in automation tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure backend APIs and services using Node.js.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensurehigh-quality, efficient API solutions.
Implement best practices for API development, including security, performance, and scalability.
Work closely with DevOps teams to automate deployment processes using Terraform, Python, and Jenkins.
Troubleshoot and debug issues in production environments to ensure system reliability and performance.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of experience as a Node.JS Developer, with a focus on backend API development.
Strong proficiency in Node.js, Express.js, and related frameworks/libraries.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP, including serverless architecture and containerization.
Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform for provisioning and managing cloud resources.
Hands-on experience with Python for scripting and automation tasks.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for automated build, test, and deployment processes.
Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles and best practices.
Familiarity with database technologies (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL) and ORM frameworks.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Certification in AWS, GCP, or Terraform.
Experience with microservices architecture and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).
Job Type: Contract
Salary: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
