  • Support of annual Assessment and Authorization (A&A) audits as needed.
  • Submittal of documentation requests for annual Approval to Operate (ATO) authorizations.
  • Perform scans and audits of networking infrastructure and propose implementation solutions for remediation of scan findings.
  • Assist local IT security team in building system security plan (SSP) data entries for networking equipment.
  • Prepare and present remediation documentation to include: MS Word documents, MS PowerPoint slides, MS Excel files, and any other documentation as requested by the government.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work on multiple simultaneous projects, while meeting infrastructure development deadlines.
  • Utilize AutoCAD and/or Visio drawing packages to render thorough and concise drawing packages requested by the government.

Qualifications
Required Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or other related Engineering discipline, and 8 - 10+ years of related Network Engineering experience; without a degree, 12 - 14+ years of directly related experience that includes technical training, may be considered

  • 5+ years' experience with Cisco and Juniper switch and firewalls
  • 3+ years' experience working with Cyber (IT) security concepts
  • Experience with AutoCAD and/or Visio drawing packages
  • Security clearance - NASA agency Public Trust and the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance if required by the program, which requires a US citizen

Desired Experience:
  • Experience configuring Linux system networking hardware
  • Experience with Virtual LAN (vLAN) environments
  • Experience with Border Gateway Protols (BGP)
  • Experience with building IPSEC tunnels
  • CCNA certification is strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with MS Windows and Linux administration via PowerShell and command line
